Event Listings: We provide the event listings as a free service. All listings will include your event name, dates, location, a brief description, a phone number and a website address if applicable. Once submitted, it will remain in the events listings section of the website until the date of the event. See Event listings.

The Canadian Fiddler

The Canadian Fiddler is the quarterly newsletter published by the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association. Sample issue - March 2009 (PDF 608KB)

Articles: All articles, photos and announcements are welcome and are free to include with each issue. We are particularly looking for what is happening in your area such as competitions, contest results, festivals and other events and articles about interesting fiddlers.

To submit materials, please send us the following:

  • Half-page or full-page article (Word, excel, .pdf)
  • Include a credit for an article (Author or Contributor)
  • When submitting photos, please provide:
    • High resolution B/W or colour image (300 dpi resolution or higher)
    • Most formats accepted: .jpeg, .tif, .pdf, .eps (electronic or hardcopy)
    • Will be published in black and white, unless otherwise specified.
    • Include a credit for each photo (i.e. Photographer's name or person
      giving permission to use photo.

Canadian Fiddler: Colour ads are placed on the back cover of the Fiddler on a first-come, first-served basis. All other ads are placed as black and white images throughout the publication as space allows.
